A week before stepping on stage, a speech begins to take shape.

Somewhere between an idea and a speech, there’s a process. A week of pacing, writing, unwriting. Post-it notes layered over the window, blocking out the canal views. Voice memos recorded and deleted. The search for the right words, the right rhythm.
